Property Overview

Our first memorial took place in 1957, and since then Heritage Funeral Home has been a peaceful setting where families come to remember and honor. Featuring a 30,000-square-foot, full-service facility featuring 22 staterooms and a freshly remodeled 250-seat chapel, Heritage Funeral Home is the perfect place to hold a unique, meaningful ceremony to express the genuine individuality of your loved one.

Memorial Chapel

Conveniently located within the funeral home, Memorial Chapel offers both an organ and piano, as well as pre-recorded music and live vocalists. Three flat-screen monitors have been placed throughout the chapel to make it easy for guests to watch tributes from anywhere in the room. Families can also choose to live stream funeral and memorial services for those who can’t attend in person. For families that anticipate gatherings of 100 people or more, we recommend the Memorial Chapel.

George Young Care Center & Crematory

Our state-of-the-art George Young Care Center and Crematory was constructed in 2013 and is known for its contemporary and modern design. The care center is staffed by funeral directors 24 hours a day to ensure we’re here for you when you need us. Within the George Young Care Center is our onsite crematory. Having on onsite crematory ensures loved ones remain in our care. The crematory also offers a beautiful witness area for those who wish to be there for the cremation.

The Arbors at Wildwood Chapel

Wildwood Chapel, our non-denominational, non-sectarian chapel, is located within the heart of Heritage Cemetery and offers families a beautiful, intimate setting for funeral and memorial services. Built in 1942, Wildwood Chapel was constructed to resemble a typical countryside chapel and is our most requested chapel for gatherings of 75 people or less. A monitor within the chapel makes it easy for guests to watch tributes. With recent updates, families can now livestream funeral and memorial services for those who can’t attend in person. Wildwood Chapel offers both an organ and piano, as well as options for pre-recorded music and live vocalists.

Abbey Chapel

Abbey Chapel was constructed in the late 1950s from the large marble and copper dome building that was once the main entrance to the cemetery. Recent renovations to this chapel have created a more serene setting for funeral and memorial services for 90 guests or less. Located within the Abbey Mausoleum, the chapel is an ideal setting for memorial services where the Abbey Mausoleum will serve as the final resting place. Two monitors make it easy for guests to watch tributes from anywhere in the room. Abbey Chapel offers both an organ and piano, as well as options for pre-recorded music and live vocalists.

Whispering Waters®

Whispering Waters® features a free-flowing stream, fountains, mausoleum, glass and granite niches, estates, cremation and traditional burial areas. It is located across the southwestern corner of the cemetery.

Indoor, Outdoor and Chapel Mausoleums

Heritage offers many mausoleum offerings with options that are affordable, prestigious and available to everyone, all while reflecting the true beauty Heritage has to offer. Our indoor options offer options for permanent memorialization in a climate-controlled place for visitors. Cremation options are also available in our indoor and outdoor mausoleums.

In-ground and Lawn Crypt Burials

Heritage offers a wide variety of in-ground burial choices including individual, companion or family estates and lawn crypt sections surrounded by the natural beauty of our gardens. Whether your family seeks traditional burial spaces, double depth or in-ground cremation placement, there are many individual selections to meet different needs and budgets.

Custom Family Estates and Private Mausoleums

Heritage offers several different exclusive options for families including custom family estates, family mausoleums and companion mausoleums each of these options can be specially designed to reflect your vision and easily accommodate both traditional and cremated burials.
